In many modern washbasins, the overflow protection is integrated into the drain and requires a special eccentric. This eccentric solution, known as CLOU, is also controlled by a pull rod. All Wasserwerk washbasin faucets with pull rods are also suitable for washbasins with the CLOU system. On the one hand, washbasins with the CLOU system are more aesthetic, as the visible overflow protection on the back can be dispensed with. On the other hand, washbasins with the CLOU system allow a higher water level, as they can theoretically be filled to the brim.

So-called press eccentrics or push eccentrics, which are opened or closed by simply pressing on the eccentric, have established themselves as a popular alternative to eccentrics with pull rods. The advantage of this solution is that it is easier to install, as there is no need to install the pull rod and connect the rod to the eccentric.
